The Fall Harvest Offering is an offering taken to go toward the home and foreign missions we support. These missions include The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions,The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, The Rheubin L. South Missouri Missions and The World Hunger Offering. Listed below are some Frequently Asked Questions, and the answers you might be asking as well.
Q:Does this mean we will no longer have the mission drives throughout the year?
A:Our goal is to have one Mission drive a year this would be called The Fall Harvest Offering. This allows you to save all year and make one donation, or contribute monthly or weekly what ever suits your budget.
Q: Will the Fall Harvst Offering be Taken from my Tithe?
A: No. Your Tithes goes to the operating expenses of our church. SinceThe Fall Harvest Offering goes to fund mission work outside of the church, it should be considered a gift or offering above and beyond the tithe.
Q: How is The Fall Harvest Offering divided up among the various missions?
A: Of the total 35% goes to Annie Armstrong, 35% goes to the Lottie Moon, 15% goes to the Rhuebin L. South and 15% goes to World Hunger.
Q: What is The Fall Harvest Offering goal?
A: Our current goal is $2,000 but our hopes are to exceed that goal.
Q: Is my gift tax deductible?
